Job Description

The Role

Record and maintain day-to-day financial transactions in Tally and ensure accuracy in books of accounts. o Prepare sales invoices and record sales receipts in the accounting software. o Process vendor invoices, record payments, and maintain vendor accounts. o Follow up on receivables in coordination with the Business Head and relevant teams. o Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cash and bank records. o Manage petty cash accounting and related documentation. o Assist the Reporting Manager in preparing MIS reports and financial statements. o Handle ledger and intercompany reconciliations to ensure data integrity. o Prepare VAT workings, calculate liabilities, and process VAT payments on time. o Assist in statutory audits of standalone financial statements for Wizcraft UAE and its overseas entities, ensuring timely completion. o Prepare and ensure compliance with all tax filings, including VAT and Corporate Tax. o Support cross-departmental requests related to client information, job cost data, and policy or procedural requirements. o Collaborate with the Business Head, team members, and Finance team in India on financial operations and reporting. o Undertake any other accounting or finance-related tasks as required from time to time.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of UAE accounting laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements, along with familiarity with international practices related to UAE entities. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. o A proactive team player with strong collaboration and coordination abilities. o Ability to understand, anticipate, and respond to the needs of various stakeholders. o Proficiency in Tally ERP for accounting and financial management. o Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, with basic presentation skills in PowerPoint.
