Summary: The role of the Finance Controller is a key partner to Heads of departments who oversee the financial operations and provide a comprehensive and accurate vision of the performance of the function and company to help drive efficiencies and sustainability across the different HQ departments. She/He will support the budget and monthly closing processes and will participate in the production of a thorough analysis of where the company stands monthly vs. the budget, to ensure the financial health and stability of the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports on a monthly basis, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and variance analyses. Liaise with markets and Head of Departments to provide context to the business. Budgeting and Forecasting: Work with Senior Director of Finance to prepare budgets on a tri-annual basis to guide the company\'s financial decisions. Monitor and analyze actual results against budgeted figures. Business partnering : Collaborate closely with department heads to understand their financial needs and goals. Provide financial analysis, insights, and support to help drive their strategies and decisions. Cost Control: Advising on cost control measures to optimize expenses while maintaining quality and standards. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks. Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. Financial Strategy: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company\'s growth and profitability goals. Internal control & continuous improvement : develop a strong documentation of the controlling functions, related task. Have a strong continuous improvement mindset to reflect on current processes and improve them. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements Audit and Risk Management : Coordinate and manage external audits, assess financial risks, and implement risk mitigation strategies. ERP Systems: Ensure optimization of financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to improve efficiency and accuracy. Cross-functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships and partnerships with various departments to provide financial guidance and support.
