We have an opportunity for a Senior Finance Analyst to join our PMT business in Saudi Arabia. We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as Finance Manager – Smart Meters (SME) to be based in Dhahran, KSA. In this role, you will lead Finance activities for a growing business in the Middle East and North Africa Region (MENA). SME is a business unit within the Performance Materials & Technologies arm of Honeywell. The role will partner with and support the Regional General Manager in driving financial performance, managing and leading key business processes including the annual operating plan (AOP), strategic plan (STRAP), monthly operating review (MOR) and bi-weekly financial pulse. The role will also be a senior member of PMT in KSA and will handle country level escalations and provide reporting insights across PMT for KSA. Senior Finance Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Full financial ownership for the SME business in MENA region covering Orders, Revenue, Gross Margin, Operating Income and Cash
  • Demonstrates a high degree of business acumen and is able to quickly grasp the SME business model and key business drivers to help drive the stabilization and growth agenda of the business.
  • Develops strong relationship with the GM and his staff to quickly become a trusted business partner
  • Uses financial and operational data to analyze trends and financial impact to provide meaningful operational performance insight that helps the business execute on operational commitments and meet financial targets.
  • Plays the role of financial adviser and business advocate whilst maintaining compliance to financial controls, policies and principles
  • Owns financial forecasting for the segment including weekly pulse meetings to discuss latest forecast, risks with mitigation plans and opportunities with action plans to deliver financial results.
  • Leads the AOP planning process for the region and the monthly financial review. Performs ad-hoc analysis to determine business trends and provide decision support with financial information. Analyses the impact of moving into new areas of business.
  • Works closely with the regional and global supply chain leadership to drive regional revenue, ensuring robust process and KPI’s including past due tracking.
  • Drives cash flow improvement initiatives for the region. Liaison with collections team to understand root cause of Receivable past dues and drive timely resolution with the business teams

  • The role will also serve as a senior member for PMT in KSA. The role will be responsible to develop a monthly package for PMT financials in KSA and provide financial insights as needed to support or grow existing PMT business in KSA. This role will also be the first point of contact to handle escalation in KSA for PMT.
  • Reviews General accounting activities. Ensures books are closed in compliance with accounting rules and policies. Works with regional and global controllers as needed to support business specific needs. Overall, ensures a robust internal controls environment

Qualification:
  • Professionally qualified with 7 -10+ years of experience including post qualification experience
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Similar Finance manager or FP&A Manager role
  • Experience with leading finance in a Products and Manufacturing business preferred
  • Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment and to tight deadlines
  • Strong work ethic with hands on approach
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to relate to people at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to drive process improvements in a global environment
  • Ability to communicate financial data to non-financial people
  • Self-motivated, flexible and results oriented
