The Senior Executive - Product Specialist helps develop and deliver operational processes and best-in-class ERP systems. The talent will be at the center of the Internal Transformation team, connecting between the business analysts and the development team on one side and the end-user and the development team on the other side while ensuring clear communication flows in all directions. The main duties of a product specialist include managing and prioritizing various backlog items in-line with business requirements, managing functional configurations in the system, monitoring process performance, introducing functional enhancements along with transforming, visualizing and analyzing data.

Main Tasks:

A) Technical & Product:

  • Enable delivery of product backlog by presenting backlog to development team, prioritizing and refining well-formed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Be the first point of contact on system issues/bug escalations by responding to system related questions and concerns and providing technical support and guidance to end-users.
  • Report on common sources of technical issues and work with development team to provide sustainable solutions within approved SLAs.
  • Perform thorough quality assurance at every stage of systems development.
  • Participate and give recommendations on product architecture in scrum meetings and product sprints.
  • Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, access settings for all end-users.
  • Create communication, training plans and training material to enable smooth implementation of new systems and proper flow of knowledge to end-users.
  • Conduct training sessions, provide coaching on new features and ensure user readiness.
  • Support in developing and maintaining system documentation (SLA, SOP, enhancements...).
  • Responsible for transforming data along with designing and building scalable and effective data models and implementing advanced analytical capabilities into reports for analysis.
  • Develop and generate reports from single or multiple systems along with processing and maintaining confidential data according to guidelines.
  • Monitor and measure system performance, evaluate against baseline and support in defining success measures.
B) Business Acumen & Operational Efficiency:
  • Works daily with the development team to refine stories and resolve bugs for implementation.
  • Create UAT test scenarios along with organizing and facilitating UAT testing.
  • Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process and keep Internal transformation team and stakeholders informed of the status of the product.
  • Identify and report to Internal transformation lead any anticipated resistance to change.
  • Manage and prioritize product backlog based on changing requirements.
  • Conduct frequent system performance checks to maximize effectiveness and troubleshoot problems.
  • Partner with business analysis and development teams to develop necessary analysis and documentation in a collaborative manner.
  • Work in an agile environment and continuously review business needs, refine priorities and identify opportunities and risks.
C) Strategic & Transformative Thinking:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to build, prioritize and define workflows and requirements.
  • Conduct frequent systems analytics to maximize value and effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and redesign that will allow us to accomplish objectives more quickly and at a higher level of efficiency.
  • Support on change management initiatives and help with assessing change readiness and integrate change management activities into project plan.
  • Constantly looking for ways to improve monitoring to deliver better value to the business.
  • Enable business to maximize the value of their data assets through visualizations and reporting tools.
D) People & Leadership:
  • Continually define ways to deepen business relationships and increase stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
  • Green Belt - Six Sigma or Change Management certificates is a plus.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in systems development capacity, product management or analytics.
  • Proficiency in SQL language and database management.
  • Practical experience generating process documentation and reports.
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications.
  • Proven capabilities in user-testing management.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, layman terms.
  • Adaptable and capable of working in fast-paced environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile software development methodology.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines.
