NielsenIQ Retail Vertical places our clients at the heart of everything that we do. Retail Vertical, Senior Executive is a commercially minded individual that will manage a selection of retail client relationships across Jeddah Clients. The role will require the individual to deliver on the commercial agreements in place with our retail clients. The role requires both the ability to plan and execute on a clear strategy around four key pillars, including sourcing of retail data, servicing of retail clients, and sales. The individual will be required to manage the day-to-day relationship with key client stakeholders , and be comfortable in presenting data to a senior audience. Also, it will be important to manage internal stakeholders to deliver on key projects within the unit, as well as develop a sales pipeline to build and maintain client revenue. Responsibilities
  • Build and enhance relationships with allocated Retailers to entangle them and ensure continued cooperation, containing costs and/or method of data delivery to improve data quality.
  • Accountable for maintaining and reinforcing our relationship with key stakeholders within retail clients with the development of a solid key stakeholder plan.
  • Ensure that Retailer Vertical client satisfaction is improved steadily across the country to an excelling level.
  • Drive servicing efficiencies through planning and execution of client engagement model in order to attain acceptable client (NPS) satisfaction scores.
  • Proactively deliver on contractual reporting obligations, and drive the use of NielsenIQ data into the retail client business.
  • Ensure revenue target for assigned clients is achieved profitably by identifying client needs, developing client plans, diagnosing issues and agreeing solutions that fully support clients’ own objectives and deliver growth and retain cooperation for our Retailer Vertical business.
  • Reach decided upon revenue and proposal targets through development of healthy sales pipeline.
  • Understanding and execution on financial administration including invoicing, counter invoicing/cash collection.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand Retailer clients data quality coming into the NielsenIQ Factory.
  • Coordinate with Operations (Product leadership, Data science, Data production etc.) to fulfil all the contractual reports and account plans for allocated Retailers and to achieve client requirements.
  • Contribute to FMCG thought leadership and internal knowledge sharing for the business through the identification of emerging trends, problems, and opportunities.
  • Work with your manager in setting objectives and KPIs, performance reviews, feedback, and career mentoring.
About you Working with both your NielsenIQ colleagues and spending time with Retailer clients, you will build partnerships to allow you to understand your client needs and requirements. You'll use this knowledge to develop in depth analytics and create compelling stories that deliver the insight to drive business growth. You will be part of a team of client service individuals who specialize in FMCG/Retail at NielsenIQ. Qualifications
  • At least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or statistics
  • 3-5 years’ work experience, preferably within Research/ Consulting firms, Retailer, consumer or trade marketing, analytics and insights or market research.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.),
  • Business Proficiency in spoken and written Arabic and English.
  • Knowledge of the Retail/FMCG industry within Middle East
  • Detail oriented, excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to translate analytics into key insights for senior client stakeholders
  • Recent experience with client management/servicing with commercial acumen in order to deal with key day-to-day stakeholders.
  • Ability to proactively understand clients and identify opportunities for building strategic partnerships, and/or projects for other business units within NielsenIQ.
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Good interpersonal skills are a must
