Review and analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, and subcontractor inquiries for pricing.
Evaluate and negotiate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to secure competitive quotations.
Assess project risks, constraints, and opportunities while estimating.
Prepare cost breakdowns, cash flow projections, and pricing strategies for tender submissions.
Support project managers and the commercial team in post-tender clarifications and contract negotiations.
Maintain updated knowledge of market trends, construction methods, and material costs.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and client requirements.
Mentor and guide junior estimators within the team.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum
10-15 years of experience
in estimation within a contracting or construction company.
Strong knowledge in Civil Contracting or Construction Company.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Strong leadership and team collaboration abilities.
