Penspen is looking for Senior QA/QC Engineer (Welding & NDE & Fabrication)
A QA/QC Engineer (Welding & NDE & Fabrication) is responsible for ensuring that all welding, non-destructive examination (NDE), and fabrication processes meet specified quality standards. This includes reviewing and verifying welding procedures, inspecting welds, and overseeing NDE activities. They also play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of fabricated components and structures.
Qualification Required
An Engineering Degree-preferably from Mechanical background. CSWIP, AWS CWI, or equivalent. Certifications in various NDE methods, such as ASNT Level II in Dye Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Radiographic Testing, and Ultrasonic Testing. etc. A strong understanding of relevant welding codes and standards, such as ASME, AWS, API, and BS EN Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment, interpreting engineering drawings, and using quality management systems
Years of Experience Required
Minimum 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Good experience in the large oil and gas brown field projects Previous experience in the ADNOC projects is an added advantage. GCC experience is a must.
