Make your mark as a Senior Engineer at Horizon Geosciences!
As a senior engineer, you will be responsible to provide a higher level of support and knowledge to complex projects and additionally to pass on valuable knowledge to others.

Your responsibilities as a senior engineer

• Accountable for the correct installation, configuration, and interface all survey hardware, software and sensors.
• Responsible for compliance with manufacturer\xe2\x80\x99s manuals, operating instructions and procedures
• Expected to diagnose any fault, at any time and rectify to the highest standard.
• Assist the survey team during verifications and calibrations, including offset measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
• Senior engineer must provide support, lend expertise and provide valuable training to all Engineers on board.
• Ensure that all technical faults are reported to Engineering Department and all data relating the faults are recorded within the database including OEM conversations.
• Senior engineer is expected to maintain an accurate log of equipment on site. All equipment arriving/returning to/from shore should contain all associated cabling, packed clearly and identifiable on the associated inbound manifests. Maintain on-board survey equipment inventory and provide updates to Engineering Stores when required.
• Senior engineer is expected to participate in daily Toolbox Talks (TBTs) and provide detailed, clear, and concise information to others.

Qualifications

Your qualities and experience
You can make your mark as a senior engineer if you have:

• Strong knowledge and understanding of seamanship, marine terminology, and rigging skills.
• Should have knowledge of proper storage, packaging, and shipping procedures.
• B.Sc. level or Diploma in Engineering or Survey-related education.
• Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in a related field.

• Your team: You will be part of the Survey Engineering Department.
• Where you will work: You will be working in our office in SAIF Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
• Fulltime/ part- time job: The position of senior engineer is a full-time job.
