JOB TITLE: Senior Engineer - Quality (Mechanical - Piping / Valves)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
xc2xb7 Review procurement documents to ensure that quality requirement have been correctly translated into purchase requisitions and design documents.
xc2xb7 List procurement inspection criticality rating for various items and vendor quality requirements.
xc2xb7 Review of purchase orders to ensure that the applicable requirements are met.
xc2xb7 Review of suppler ITPs, WPS, Procedures etc against contract requirements.
xc2xb7 Develop project specific QCP/ITP/ITRs for both supplier and site QMS.
xc2xb7 Coordinate with Completion team to set up PetroPCS.
xc2xb7 Attendance at pre-inspection meetings.
xc2xb7 Compilation of vendor inspection assignments packages.
xc2xb7 Conduct supplier capability assessment as assigned.
xc2xb7 Complete and submit Supplier Capability Assessment reports in 10 working days for approval.
Moderate/review supplier post order evaluation report/matrix.
xc2xb7 Non-conformance (NCRs) raised during surveillance visit in a month and closure status.
xc2xb7 Coordination and resolution of any nonconforming product Reviewing vendors QA/QC systems in accordance with contractual requirements.
xc2xb7 Coordination of vendor quality approvals when required.
xc2xb7 Coordinate with discipline engineers and Supplier engineers on establishing project specific quality criteria.
xc2xb7 Ensure the verification of documentation and certificates for materials purchased by suppliers.
xc2xb7 Review supplier inspection procedures and personnel qualifications.
xc2xb7 Review supplier material certificates.
xc2xb7 Take part in shop inspections and surveillances.
xc2xb7 Coordinate with the companies discipline engineers for the resolution of technical discrepancies.
xc2xb7 Coordinate with management for quality improvements.
xc2xb7 Issue of non-conformance reports and track all non-conformance reports.
xc2xb7 Coordinate with the owners representative on all procurement issues.
Verify product for its compliance to approved data sheets drawings, witness testing as approved by ITP.
xc2xb7 Produce necessary inspection report and release notes.
xc2xb7 Monitor progress of all purchase requisitions.
xc2xb7 Assure resolution of all issues raised during inspection/test. Where applicable, Provide recommendations for possible solutions.
xc2xb7 Coordinate with concerned parties, review and ensure timely delivery of MRBs based on approved MRB index.
xc2xb7 Provide technical inputs for vendor queries, technical queries/deviation requests, conformance reports and non-conformance reports.
xc2xb7 Integrate with and work alongside the quality team and perform all related tasks as and when requested by the supervisor.
xc2xb7 Provide key technical assistance to supplier on writing and executing test approvals and final reports.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Engineering Diploma/Degree with 1015 years of relevant experience.
  • Should have experience in the oil & gas/petrochemical industry.
  • Should have previously worked with a major EPC contractor in a similar role.
  • Lead Auditor training, auditing experience, and certifications in a relevant functional discipline are preferred.
  • Must have a thorough working knowledge of International Codes and Standards, specifically ASME and API Codes/practices, and specifications associated with all types of static/rotating equipment and piping.
