Review and perform project planning, scheduling, and monitoring activities for the assigned projects, and monitor the performance of the Consultants and Contractors on major/complex high-value Capital Projects. Key Accountabilities
Provide input for the preparation of budgets for Capital Projects and assist in implementing the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Department objectives. Investigate and highlight significant variances to support effective performance and cost control. Prepare summary schedules for all new projects based on alternative execution strategies to facilitate Management decision-making regarding the most effective execution strategy. Develop project-specific Planning, Progress Measurement, Progress Reporting, and other project control requirements, and incorporate them into the respective Tenders / Agreements for various projects (FEED, PMC, EPC). Evaluate technical bids received from Consultants/Contractors (PMC, FEED, EPC) to ascertain compliance with specified requirements, assess resource adequacy, and prepare relevant portions of the Technical Evaluation Report and finalize relevant parts of the Agreement document after award. Review all submittals from Pre-FEED, FEED, PMC, and EPC Contractors/Consultants during implementation related to Planning, Scheduling, Progress Measurement, Reporting, Schedule Risk Analysis, Productivity, etc., considering Agreement requirements, Project priorities, Plant Shutdown requirements, etc. Verify and endorse monthly physical progress claimed by the Consultants/Contractors for payment purposes. Monitor reported progress and schedule status, identify concerns impacting project completion, and advise Sr. Project Managers on corrective actions. Develop, maintain, and update Databank based on historical information and update Projects Dashboard regularly. Review resource deployment by Contractors/Consultants for adequacy in meeting schedules based on productivity rates and recommend enhancements where needed. Evaluate Variation requests/Claims for schedule extensions made by Contractors and prepare recommendations for Management approval. Review Schedule Risk Analysis periodically with mitigation measures and ensure timely implementation. Coordinate with Project Control Managers of all PMCs and EPC Contractors to ensure adherence to project control procedures throughout the project. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent Professional Qualification. 8+ years of experience in Planning & Scheduling for large projects within Oil and Gas industry. Experience coordinating and negotiating with contractors and Consultants for planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and reporting to meet company objectives. Extensive hands-on experience in project planning & scheduling principles, procedures, techniques, and practices, with a strong understanding of work breakdown structures. Ability to foresee delays in advance; attention to detail is essential for managing schedules of complex projects with international Contractors. Experience in both pre-award and post-award phases of project implementation with a multidisciplinary approach. Background working in EPC organizations within Oil and Gas. Extensive knowledge and experience with Planning Software during FEED/EPC phases. Professional certification in Project Management/Construction Management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
