Join or sign in to find your next job Join to apply for the Senior Engineer, Project Cost Estimation (Project Control Team (P&T)) role at ADNOC Group Job Purpose Review and analyze project requirements, specifications, and drawings to prepare detailed cost estimates. Conduct quantity take-offs and cost calculations for labor, materials, and equipment. Utilize cost databases and historical data to support estimation processes. Key Accountabilities

Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Analyze project scope and identify potential risks and opportunities that may impact the cost estimate. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop and refine project plans and schedules. Provide professional expertise in estimating problems and support project management and contracting personnel with bid analysis and contract negotiations. Identify and evaluate cost-saving measures and alternative materials or methods for projects. Present cost estimates to clients and stakeholders, including detailed breakdowns and explanations of costs. Track and monitor project costs throughout the project, addressing discrepancies or scope changes. Review and negotiate subcontractor and vendor proposals to ensure competitive pricing and quality. Incorporate new techniques and technologies into the estimating process. Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills Bachelor Degree in Engineering. 8 years of experience in Cost Control & Estimation roles for large projects in the Oil and Gas industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Cost Estimation & Cost Control Certification like ACE and experience with estimation software like k-base, @Risk, etc., is desirable. Thorough understanding of cost control, estimation, and budgeting principles. Experience in executing project cost control, estimating, and budgeting activities in the oil and gas industry. In-depth knowledge of industry codes and standards with the ability to apply them to project cost control and estimation. Experience reviewing cost estimates submitted by Pre-FEED / FEED Engineers and PMCs. Professional Certifications Certification in Finance / Cost control & estimation (preferable). 27155 Seniority level
