About the role
As the Senior I&C Engineer, you will lead a talented multi-disciplinary team of technical specialists in the delivery of a diverse range of medium-to-large-scale water and wastewater projects.
We work on design projects for many water utility companies in the Middle East.
Your typical duties and responsibilities will include involvement in programme management of medium to large-sized projects whilst managing the civil design and integration with other disciplines and contributing to the preparation of design deliverables to achieve the correct time/cost/quality balance for the project.
You will be involved with business development including providing specialist support to our Account Leaders and engineering practices and will contribute to proposals and tenders in the water and wastewater fields. The role will require team management responsibility on a project-by-project basis.

Key responsibilities but not limited to the below:
- Responsible for providing ICA support to the project team, ensuring all work is in accordance with the project contract
- Evaluate pre-contract designs and provides ICA cost estimates
- Review and interpret the design being produced by the design team; provide input to the specifications and drawings to ensure the scope is fulfilled
- Prepare the enquiry documents for: instrumentation, system integration, SCADA and plant control for various water treatment processes.
- Ensure integration of design and its conformance to the specifications
- Carries out duties/functions under Mott MacDonald\xe2\x80\x99s BMS standards
Candidate Specification
- Degree qualified to a Masters\xe2\x80\x99 degree in Electrical Engineering
- A strong technical focus, able to innovate and lead by example
- Demonstrable record of successfully designing and delivering water projects
- Experienced in using analytical/design software such as Robot, Revit, Etabs, Staad, CSC, RAM,Tedds
- Demonstrable experience in planning and monitoring project programmes, costs, and resources ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Excellent knowledge of current international codes and local regulations
- IT and standard industry software skills, including knowledge of BIM
- Ability to communicate confidently and professionally in English with all levels of staff and clients (written and verbal)
