Senior Engineer - Fire Safety

The team works in real time to make sure the right people are in the right place - airside and landside - to meet demand. As our airports are the world's busiest, it's fast-paced and a real challenge. They see that the operational plan is followed, and issues are dealt with across terminals, regular operations, incidents and crisis handling. The operation has to be industry-leading, and it always is.

What you'll deliver

You'll consult, review, and approve architectural Fire & Life Safety plans and strategies in line with UAE Fire Code and other applicable standards

You'll review and approve technical specifications for the various fire and life safety materials/ systems.

You'll support the development and enhancement of standards, policies, and guidelines for departmental functions and fire safety management in DA

You'll consult and provide technical inputs for the various technical documentation submitted by the internal & external stakeholders.

You'll conduct fire safety training and awareness programs for clients, contractors, and building occupants


and promote a community fire safety culture and best practices.

What you bring

You'll be educated to a Bachelor's degree in Fire Engineering, acquired 5 - 3 years of relevant experience and 7 - 10 years of overall experience

You'll have excellent Analytical & Problem-Solving skills.

You'll have excellent communication skills and technical writing.

You'll have Civil defense certification or CFPS certifications from NFPA

You'll have technical knowledge of AutoCAD; or related systems.
