Position : Senior Engineer - Automation & Instrumentation Controls or brief skillset requirement: Key Responsibilities:
Review instrumentation, control, and automation systems design, installation, pre-commissioning & commissioning.
Review and develop control logic, software, and hardware for process control systems such as PLC, DCS, SCADA, and HMI.
Ensure systems are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
Prepare and review I&C and automation engineering documents for tender & award packages.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and vendors.
Ensure seamless integration of I&C systems with existing plant operations and automation infrastructure.
Provide technical expertise for integrating new technologies into older systems.
Support for advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic for control systems and instrumentation.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation in automation systems.
Ensure all I&C and automation systems comply with safety regulations and are designed with risk assessments.
Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and other risk assessment methodologies for automation-related safety.
Ensure I&C and automation detailed documentation of systems, configurations, and processes are in place of each project.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Control Systems Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
8-10 years of experience in I&C and automation engineering, with a proven track record in process control and industrial automation in Aluminum Industry.
Experience with designing and maintaining PLC, DCS, SCADA, and other automation technologies.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming and configuration of control systems such as Siemens, Allen Bradley, GE, ABB, or Honeywell.
Strong understanding of instrumentation such as sensors, transducers, and signal processing.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
Knowledge of advanced control techniques such as model predictive control, forward control, or PID tuning.
