Title: Senior Electrical Engineer
Company: KBR Corporate - Inhouse Engineering
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE -- KBR Office
Job Purpose

• Execute Electrical design activities within Concept, FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and Detail Engineering for Oil & Gas projects.
• Ensure high-quality, safe, and timely delivery of Electrical design and related deliverables in accordance with project requirements, international codes, and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and coordinate with multi-discipline teams and clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and handle detailed design and engineering activities for the project.
• Develop electrical specifications, datasheets, calculations, and drawings in compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Review and approve electrical design, plans, and layouts.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and client to ensure the integration of electrical systems into the overall project design.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Attend site visit and inspection to ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards, if required
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
• Participate in project meetings to address electrical engineering related issues.
• Perform Technical Bid Evaluation and vendor document review.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, installation, and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets for electrical engineering activities.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in electrical engineering.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in electrical design software and tools
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
• Experience in designing and implementing electrical systems for O& G projects.
• Ability to perform electrical calculations and analysis.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
• Relevant experience (12+) in electrical engineering for projects in the oil and gas industry
