Senior Editor - Emirates Woman & Emirates Man
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Editor to lead the editorial direction of Emirates Woman and Emirates Man across print, digital, and social platforms. This is a pivotal role for a creative leader who is passionate about lifestyle, fashion, and culture, and has the editorial flair and commercial acumen to shape premium media brands in a fast-paced, evolving landscape.
Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement editorial strategy across all platforms to ensure consistent, engaging storytelling.
• Maintain brand voice and uphold high editorial standards across content.
• Manage editorial calendars aligned with audience interests and business goals.
• Oversee and edit compelling content across digital, print, social, and video.
• Commission and guide internal writers and external contributors.
• Deliver timely, relevant content, including trend-based and reactive stories.
• Ensure print editions are high quality and reflect the brand's standards.
• Lead creative execution of editorial and commercial shoots.
• Drive SEO-focused content strategy for optimal digital performance.
• Innovate with short-form video, reels, and new content formats.
• Grow audiences using AI-led and Gen Z-targeted strategies.
• Use analytics to refine and optimize content performance.
• Lead content planning for events, awards, panels, and brand experiences.
• Represent the brand on camera, on stage, and at key industry events.
• Work closely with marketing and sales on campaign-related content.
• Manage and mentor a small editorial team, driving productivity and growth.
• Set goals, review performance, and promote continuous learning.
• Encourage creativity and innovation within the editorial team.
• Collaborate with commercial teams on sponsored and branded content.
• Maintain editorial integrity while meeting client expectations.
• Support monetization efforts through content strategy across all channels.

Prerequisites:

• A proven editorial background with strong experience across both print and digital media.
• Exceptional planning, writing, editing, and content development skills.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage and inspire editorial teams.
• A sharp eye for visual design and content quality across platforms.
• Solid knowledge of SEO, digital publishing tools, and content performance analytics.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to align editorial strategy with revenue goals and client needs.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and design teams.
