About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Documentation Officer (for manufacturing and trading business) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of UAE experience in logistics and a strong understanding of both local and international shipment documentation. The candidate must be capable of handling the entire documentation process, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely submission to avoid any penalties or delays.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review all logistics documentation for local and international shipments (Import, Export, Customs and Clearance). Thoroughly check all documents before processing to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Strong knowledge related to LC documentation. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, transporters and suppliers. Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery. Maintain proper records and filing systems for all shipment-related documents. Ensure compliance with UAE customs laws and international shipping regulations. Identify and resolve any logistics-related issues proactively.

Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of UAE experience in logistics documentation operations. Excellent knowledge of local & international documentation and customs procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to detect document errors. Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Accuracy Rate - Percentage of documentation processed without errors. On-Time Processing - Timely preparation and submission of logistics documents to avoid penalties or delays. Compliance Rate - Adherence to UAE customs regulations and international shipping requirements. Shipment Tracking Efficiency - Timely updates and proactive management of shipment timelines. Record Management - Proper and systematic filing of all logistics-related documents. Issue Resolution Time - Average time taken to resolve shipment or documentation-related issues.
