Archirodon has been awarded a major Oil & Gas EPC project in UAE, and is currently building a team of experienced Lead Engineers, who will be based in our UAE office and lead the multidiscipline Engineering of the project.
Project includes the detailed engineering and design, quality assurance and control, procurement/supply, interface management, construction/installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning/start-up of Hydrocarbon & non-Hydrocarbon systems and management including all works required for the job completion. The main objective of this brownfield project is to increase the production handling capacity by adding a new Production Train and associated facilities at an existing Central Degassing Station and a new gas lift compressor train at another existing Central Degassing Station.
Role Summary:
Report to the Lead Design Engineer & Project Engineering Manager
Coordinate discipline-related engineering activities in collaboration with other Engineering Discipline Leads
Execute and support engineering activities within the Materials & Corrosion discipline, ensuring timely and quality delivery
Provide technical guidance to discipline engineers and support junior team members
Review and validate engineering deliverables related to Materials & Corrosion
Interface and coordinate with Client representatives (ADNOC) on discipline-related matters
Support management of external engineering consultants and designers for M&C scope
Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes, standards, and company procedures
Contribute to technical reviews, risk assessments, and problem-solving activities during engineering and execution phases
What you will need to have:
BE or equivalent in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas projects, with strong exposure to detailed engineering in Materials & Corrosion
Strong technical expertise in basic and detailed engineering, from feasibility studies through commissioning and startup
Hands-on experience with commercial engineering software relevant to Oil & Gas projects
In-depth knowledge of international codes, standards, and design practices
Experience with environmental regulatory requirements (local and international); knowledge of local environmental laws is an advantage
Previous experience working in an international / multicultural environment
Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
