Role Overview
The Turnaround & Restructuring team works with healthy, under-performing and distressed companies across a variety of urgent, high impact situations. The team helps our clients navigate periods of change or growth and deliver significant improvement in business performance and enterprise value by providing hands on expert level support and advice.
Our team offers financial, operational and commercial insights to special situations in order to deliver significant improvement to both balance sheet and P&L. We aim to create, protect and recover value by understanding the key business and organizational challenges or growth objectives, identifying tailored solutions, and supporting in the implementation of change initiatives to drive a successful outcome.
Suitable candidates for this position will have a strong suite of strategy, consulting and hands-on operational experience; you will be working alongside experienced staff with practical, real-world experience that can swiftly identify opportunities and real issues. Experience taking interim roles would be of an advantage.
Requirements
- Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree and / or an MBA, and/or evidence of a strong academic record.
- A degree in Business, Finance or Engineering is preferable but not essential.
- Extensive and relevant experience with a mix of consulting / advisory and industry.
- Proven experience leading, developing and delivering large scale transformation, turnaround and restructuring programs across multiple markets and industries.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders either in a PMO function or part of a wider transformation office setup.
- Experience developing new propositions and strong network to leverage when building team to deliver on the ground.
- Understanding and experience of identifying and implementing levers to improve performance. Including but not limited to - cost reduction, organization health & redesign, supply chain & procurement, Growth strategies and market analysis, cash and working capital management and optimization, manufacturing optimization, PMI and carve-outs, process mapping and redesign and strategic and business planning.
- Demonstrable track record in achieving implementation oriented, qualitative solutions in multiple workstreams.
- Deep understanding of business issues and the ability to communicate them effectively to team leaders and clients.
- Willingness to build professional and personal growth by working in high-impact situations under time-pressure.
- True passion for achieving ambitious results.
- Outstanding analytical and critical thinking skills along with strong financial literacy and modelling.
- Excellent relationship management with c-suite stakeholders while achieving results.
- Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and executive-level presentation skills.
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of an additional languages (including Arabic) would be advantageous.
