We are seeking a

Senior Facade Designer

to join our Design Studio in Dubai. This role sits at the heart of our creative process--bridging aesthetics with engineering, vision with viability. The successful candidate will lead and execute facade design tasks across a diverse portfolio of real estate developments throughout the UAE, ensuring architectural integrity while aligning with environmental and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Spearhead concept and detailed facade design development for high-end residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Collaborate closely with architectural, structural, MEP, and sustainability teams to ensure facade designs are fully integrated. Lead facade material selection, performance studies, and detailing, especially for complex curtain walls, unitized systems, cladding, and bespoke assemblies. Manage facade design packages through all project stages--from concept to IFC--within fast-paced timelines. Coordinate with suppliers, fabricators, and facade consultants to ensure constructability, durability, and design fidelity. Participate in client and consultant meetings, providing expert insights and strategic guidance on facade decisions. Mentor junior team members and contribute to studio-wide knowledge-sharing on facade systems, innovation, and technologies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Facade Engineering. 8-12 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years specializing in facade design, preferably within the UAE/GCC region. A solid portfolio showcasing design-led facade projects across typologies. Expert knowledge of facade materials, systems (unitized, stick-built, cladding), and performance metrics (thermal, acoustic, solar). Proficiency in Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, and facade-specific tools (e.g., Grasshopper, Ladybug/Honeybee, or equivalent). Familiarity with UAE building codes, green building regulations (Estidama, Al Sa'fat, etc.), and international facade standards. Strong design intuition, technical literacy, and a collaborative spirit.
