Job Description

As the Senior Designer, you will be at the forefront of turning conceptual ideas into tangible products. This position is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the design and fabrication processes to ensure the timely and high-quality production of metal components and products. The Senior Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, interpret engineering specifications, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing unit.

Responsibilities:

Product Design:

Design custom products as per customer needs following the highest levels of quality and safety measures. Design, develop, and manufacture new products as per internal team needs. Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of Fabrication Specialists to achieve production targets and quality standards. Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members. Foster a collaborative and safety-conscious team culture.

Operational Oversight:

Oversee the daily operations of the fabrication unit, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal resource utilization. Schedule fabrication tasks to meet project deadlines. Implement and monitor standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.

Quality Assurance:

Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure fabricated products meet or exceed engineering specifications. Conduct regular inspections of fabricated items, addressing any quality issues and implementing corrective actions.

Collaborate with the Suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials and costing. Monitor spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

Qualifications

5+ years of sales experience. AutoCAD SolidWorks Must have experience with 3D scanners Must have experience with 3d printing Must have experience in designing bumpers, bed racks, side steps etc Must have experience managing a team of fabricators Any nationality candidates Good English communication skills 4x4, Off Road vehicle experience is an advantage

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
