Job Description

Receive concept drawings/LOI/BOQ from design and ensure that designs comply with design and safety standards as per DC and DCD requirements. Understand the Total Scope of work Review design packages for material specifications and completeness and detailed it with other departments. Work closely with design team staff and engineers to investigate problems and requirements of projects, and to develop and implement appropriate solutions. Works with field /installation head and engineers on installations, issue identification, analysis and/or repairs. Ascertain/monitor that the shop drawings are prepared for aluminum Shop Drawings (Elevation, plan, section and details) & service drawings for any Aluminum, Glazing, Skylights, -curtainwalls, all kind of aluminum doors & windows (slide & fix, hinged, bottom hung & top hung, tilt & turn, louver doors & windows, Automatic Sliding Door, pool ladders, hand rails, etc. all with thermal & non-thermal break systems, cladding works as per - B.O.Q. and According with approved structural -calculation. Prepare Die Drawings for Die Fabrication and coordinate with extruders to detail the changes. Prepare Technical Catalogues and drawings based on given specifications and calculations for material and material submittals/samples for approval as per system Design and project requirements. Arrange and ensure fabrication drawings and cutting lists are prepared on given time as per the site measurements and release duly attested copies to Production and Quality departments. Provide Supervision for draughtsman's and Verify drawings, details and specification and confirm with attestation before releasing to other departments. Coordinate with Material planner, Procurement, Quality, Production and Installation departments and assist to provide necessary material specifications and confirm the same before releasing purchase order. Participates in the communication of project progress and results by conducting weekly site visit and meeting with project managers, solve any issues and provide feedback to division manager. Maintain files for all correspondence and documentation produced during the period of the project. Maintain and update graphical presentations of necessary reports and trackers shop drawings, fabrication drawings, cutting lists and glass orders project wise. Prepare As-Built drawings and reports for project completion approvals. Participate in continuous improvement/Value Engineering initiatives to assist in new product /process development and launch when required.
