Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete design and development process from pre-concept through full documentation, coordination, and handover
• Assess project briefs, define design requirements, and translate client preferences into clear design scopes
• Select, evaluate, and manage architectural and design consultants, ensuring alignment with project vision and quality expectations
• Review, edit, and provide detailed feedback on drawings, models, images, specifications, and design documentation at all stages
• Ensure compliance with luxury, hospitality, and VVIP private project standards
• Develop and present design options, mood boards, and concepts for stakeholder and client approval
• Monitor project progress against budget and program, maintaining costs within approved viability limits
• Identify potential design changes early, assess cost and time impacts, and secure required approvals
• Coordinate with internal departments and senior leadership to maintain alignment across project objectives

People and Process Management

• Participate in recruitment and selection of design team members
• Allocate tasks based on skills, experience, and workload
• Mentor and guide junior designers and associates to support professional development
• Review and contribute to continuous improvement of design management procedures and standards

Ideal Profile

• Degree in Architecture or a related discipline
• Minimum 15 years of experience in design management with developers or leading architectural firms
• Proven track record managing luxury hospitality and VVIP private projects
• Strong capability in managing consultants and driving design from concept to execution
• Experience handling multiple high-value projects under pressure
