Job Title: Senior Design Engineer

Reporting to: Design Manager.

Job Overview: Design and Engineering for Sheet Metal Enclosure / Panel ( WHCP ) Fabrication. Managing

shop drawings including 3D modeling, GA, Detail drawings, BOM and other supporting documents

required for project.

Responsibilities:

• Create 3D models of enclosures, panels, structures and assemblies using Solid Edge / CAD

software

\xe2\x88\x99Study project specifications, codes and standards

\xe2\x88\x99Develop and optimize designs for cost, performance and manufacturability

\xe2\x88\x99Assigned project design & engineering tracking and Client co-ordination and reporting

\xe2\x88\x99Monitoring & recording man hours ( planned and actual ) for each project

\xe2\x88\x99Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to ensure designs are suitable for production and

meet customer requirements

\xe2\x88\x99Prepare CAD drawings and bills of materials

\xe2\x88\x99Perform design calculations to ensure components meet required specifications where required

\xe2\x88\x99Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues.

Qualifications:

\xe2\x88\x99Bachelor of Engineering- Mechanical

\xe2\x88\x99Working experience of 5 \xe2\x80\x93 10 years

\xe2\x88\x99Well versed with 3-D CAD, experience with Solidworks and SolidEdge

\xe2\x88\x99In depth 2D drafting knowledge, 3D Modelling

\xe2\x88\x99Assess the impact of current and future regulatory initiatives, such as material re-cycling and

packaging disposal, on designs

\xe2\x88\x99Possesses good amount of experience on Mechanical product development and integration

\xe2\x88\x99Good report and documentation writing skills

\xe2\x88\x99Excellent oral and written communication
