We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior Design Engineer (Architect)

to join our construction engineering team. The successful candidate will lead the design process for various civil, Architectural/structural, and infrastructure projects, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with codes and standards, and alignment with client and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the design of structural and civil systems for construction projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. Prepare, review, and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations. Coordinate with architects, project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective. Perform structural analysis and modeling using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000). Conduct site visits and inspections to verify design implementation and address technical issues. Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers, promoting knowledge sharing and technical development. Participate in value engineering exercises and contribute to innovative design solutions that optimize project outcomes. Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and material take-offs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architect / Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's degree preferred). Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer status preferred. Minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience in design engineering within the construction industry. Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and materials. Proficient in CAD software and structural analysis tools. Excellent communication, leadership, and project coordination skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple design packages simultaneously. Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or high-rise projects. Knowledge of sustainability and green building practices (e.g., LEED certification).
