Job Description

Responsible for the coordination of all design activities within the Design Department in coordination with the

Design Manager;

Responsible for communication and reporting to the Design Manager;

Attend internal tender and project kick off meetings;

Review tender documents such as Structural Drawings, Specification and Code requirements in detail and

support tendering team by highlighting key design information;

Check of structural integrity along with building requirements in relation to geotechnical / soil study provided

during tender phase and raise any risk impact to the tendering team;

Provide design documents for tender and execution design enquiries;

Provide technical tender design and value engineering proposals for selected projects;

Check of the technical submission of subcontractors and coordinate with tendering team;

Provide input for the project risk assessment with regard to design requirements;

Coordinate in-house design and shop drawings for projects under execution;

Review in-house shop drawings and as well as subcontractor or client shop drawings prior to submission to

Consultant for approval;

Prepare details, sketches, schematics either in AutoCAD or by hand as required;

Conduct coordination meetings with Subcontractor to discuss technical and scope interfaces;

Assist the Construction Team by liaising with the Consultant and proposing design solutions for technical issues

faced on site during construction;

Prepare hand-over documents such as As-Built Drawings;

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month

Do you know how to use Plaxis 2D and SAP2000 or similar software? Do you have knowledge in preparing design memos? Do you have experience in coordinating drafting and design works. Do you have experience in civil and infrastructural projects in structural and geotechnical design?
