About the role
The OBS IT department is in charge of decision-making information systems, serving Orange Business Services different line of businesses such as marketing, pre-sales, sales, production, after-sales services, and customer-service for both France and international domains. In this context, the Orange Reporting and Analytics (ORA) system is the new digital reporting solution for Orange Business Services customers. This application will be developed in Agile SCRUM mode brings advanced analytical features to go beyond the historical contractual reporting features which used to be provided by the customers’ service managers adding more value and meeting the customers’ expectations regarding what to be reported, the look & feel, accuracy of the report, report availability and reliability. In an Agile context, the BI developer is required to undertake the following responsibility:- Translate business needs to technical specifications
- Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms
- Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
- Develop and update technical documentation
About you

- Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
- Proven experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist
- Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing
- Proficiency in BI technologies; PowerBI is a must, Qlik and Tableau is a plus.
- Proficiency in Big data
- Proficiency of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS),SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
- Good experience in working in Agile and DevOps is a plus
- B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent
- Fluent in English, French is a plus
