Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Education Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in our educational organization. This position involves collecting, analyzing, and transforming educational and operational data to provide valuable insights and facilitate informed decision-making. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in data analysis, data visualization, trend identification, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data collection strategies to gather educational information from diverse sources.
• Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of the data repository in compliance with data protection regulations.
• Clean, transform, and preprocess raw data to prepare it for analysis.
• Integrate data from various sources and maintain data consistency and quality.
• Create informative and visually appealing data visualizations, including graphs, charts, and dashboards, to convey insights effectively.
• Generate custom reports to address specific educational and operational needs, offering tailored insights to different stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor and analyze educational trends, student performance, and operational efficiency to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide regular trend reports to inform decision-making processes.
• Establish data quality assurance processes to validate the accuracy and consistency of data.
• Implement data validation checks to minimize errors.
• Collaborate with school teams to ensure proper data collection and analysis based on school-specific requirements.
• Provide training and support to team on new features, tools, and best practices.
• Benchmark data across different schools and internationally to identify areas for improvement.
• Evaluate performance metrics against industry standards and best practices.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and tools related to data analysis and business intelligence.
• Identify opportunities for adopting new technologies to enhance data analysis capabilities.
• Contribute to the creation and update of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies to streamline data-related processes and improve organizational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts, department representatives, external developers, and other stakeholders to align data analysis efforts with organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with educational regulations and standards, including those set by educational authorities.
• Generate reports for external inspections and audits to demonstrate adherence to standards.

Required skills:

• Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst, with a track record of successful data analysis projects.

• Technical expertise in the following areas:

o Data models and database design development.
o Data mining and segmentation techniques.
o Proficiency in PowerBI, Telerik Reporting, and Tableau BI for creating data visualizations and reports.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to:

o Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets.
o Disseminate significant amounts of information with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.

• Advanced proficiency in:

o Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of all advanced formulas and functions.
o MS SQL for data querying and analysis.
o VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) and Excel Macros for automating data-related tasks.
o Advanced knowledge and demonstrated experience in statistical models and methods, including the ability to apply statistical techniques to educational data analysis.

• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux command-line environments to facilitate data operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey data insights and analysis to a variety of stakeholders.
• A strong interest in continuous learning and the ability to acquire new skills as per evolving requirements.
