Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Cost Estimator/Controller to provide comprehensive cost management services for development and infrastructure projects. This role operates on a call-off consultancy basis, delivering cost estimation, budget control, and financial monitoring services across multiple projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for development and infrastructure projects Develop and maintain project budgets and cost control systems Monitor project expenditures and provide variance analysis Conduct cost-benefit analysis and value engineering assessments Review and validate contractor estimates and change orders Implement cost control procedures and reporting systems Support procurement processes with cost analysis

Required Qualifications:

University degree in Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field from a recognized institution Minimum 10 years of professional experience in cost estimation and control Strong knowledge of cost management principles and methodologies Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools Professional certifications in cost management (preferred)

Preferred Experience:

Infrastructure development projects Buildings and construction sector experience Humanitarian and emergency response Fit-out and rehabilitation projects Development projects in economic, health, and education sectors
