Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with various departments to develop and manage budgets for food and beverage operations. Prepare accurate financial forecasts to aid in strategic decision-making and cost optimization.
Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory control process, ensuring accurate tracking, minimizing waste, and preventing stock outs. Implement inventory management best practices to maintain optimal stock levels.
Pricing Strategy: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to set competitive pricing for food and beverage products while considering market trends, production costs, and profit margins.
Variance Analysis: Conduct regular variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted costs. Develop action plans to address any deviations and ensure alignment with financial targets.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Establish and maintain SOPs for cost control, inventory management, and pricing, ensuring consistency and adherence across all food and beverage operations.
Reporting and Presentation: Prepare comprehensive and accurate financial reports, presenting key cost-related insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of cost controllers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure the team\'s success and professional development.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, focusing on cost-effectiveness and quality assurance.
Qualification Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cost Controller or similar role within the food and beverage industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management position.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in using financial analysis tools and techniques.
Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, including supply chain management, production processes, and inventory control.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and budgeting, along with expertise in using accounting software and MS Excel.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities to convey complex financial data in a clear and concise manner.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment, adapting to changing business needs.
