Senior Cost Engineer, Oil/Gas Operator, Dubai, $8.5K-$10K USD pm
, UAE
Remuneration: $8.5K-$10K USD pm + Education + Annual air ticket + Medical
Role Overview:
To provide a robust and accurate cost engineering management and reporting service to the greenfieldand brownfield project development team.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Proactively liaise with the Engineering project engineers and engineering team to maintain a sound cost control environment including the management of change.
2. Develop and administrate appropriate project cost control and management of change processes to control project expenditure.
3. Develop appropriate and timely cost management structures for all projects.
4. Support delivery of consistent and robust project cost control and management by developing and implementing frameworks and procedures for Engineering projects.
5. Generate accurate monthly cost reports, including commitments, actuals and forecast, highlighting variances from the plan against approved Authorities For Expenditure (AFEs).
6. Analyse cost trends and highlight potential impacts of engineering and project changes on cost.
7. Ensure timely month end close and reporting

• 7+ years experience
• Oil and Gas project cost control experience with Owner / Operator or EPC organisations
• Prepared cost and work breakdown structures for offshore greenfield and brownfield projects
• Prepared, set up and successfully operated cost control procedures for similar projects
• Experienced with FEED and Construction project phases
• Some knowledge of estimating is helpful
