Are you a seasoned Cost Engineer looking for an exceptional opportunity to contribute your expertise to a prestigious project in Saudi Arabia? Our client, a leading Construction Project Management Consultancy, is in search of a talented Senior Cost Engineer to join their team for a high:level PIF (Public Investment Fund) project located in Abha, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee all aspects of project cost management, including cost estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. * Collaborate closely with project teams to develop detailed cost plans and schedules. * Conduct thorough cost analysis and risk assessments to identify potential cost overruns and recommend mitigation strategies. * Monitor project expenditures and track against approved budgets. * Prepare accurate and timely cost reports for stakeholders, highlighting variances and providing insights for decision:making. * Participate in value engineering exercises to optimise project costs without compromising quality. * Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the cost engineering team. Requirements: * Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. * Proven experience as a Cost Engineer within a consultancy business, preferably in the construction industry. * Strong understanding of cost estimation techniques, cost control principles, and project management methodologies. * Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office Suite. * Excellent analytical and problem:solving skills. * Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. * Prior experience working on PIF projects or similar large:scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
