Job Title: Senior Cost Control Manager

Location: Dubai, UAE

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain robust cost control systems, procedures, and policies. Establish material and manpower budgets, cost baselines, and control budgets in collaboration with the top management. Prepare accurate cost forecasts, including Estimate at Completion (EAC), and analyze variances against the budget and forecast both for manpower and material. Lead the financial forecasting process, providing long-range outlooks and scenario analysis for senior leadership. Generate detailed and timely cost reports, dashboards, and presentations for project teams, department heads, and executive management. Perform in-depth variance analysis to explain differences between actual costs, committed costs, and the budget. Analyze trends, identify potential cost overruns or savings opportunities, and recommend corrective actions. Monitor cash flow projections and report on project profitability. Proactively identify, assess, and quantify potential cost risks and opportunities. Manage the change control process, evaluating the cost impact of change orders and variations. Ensure all changes are properly documented, approved, and reflected in the cost reporting. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cost controllers and analysts. Serve as the primary cost control expert and advisor to Project Managers, Directors, and management. Collaborate closely with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance departments to ensure alignment on cost objectives. Conduct regular cost review meetings and present findings to stakeholders. Leverage and optimize cost management software (e.g., Oracle, MS Project and etc.). Continuously improve cost control processes, tools, and templates to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Requirements:

Master's degree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in cost control, cost engineering, or project controls in highrise buildings. Preferred Earned Value Professional (EVP) In-depth knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) methodology
