Position Overview
The Senior Contracts Manager role with Achieve Group in Dubai is a strategic leadership position supporting large-scale capital expenditure and professional services procurement within the energy sector. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full contracting and procurement lifecycle for capital projects and professional services in alignment with organizational strategy and governance standards
  • Drive complex contract negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and commercial conditions
  • Partner with legal, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to develop robust contracting strategies and frameworks
  • Prepare and issue Invitation to Tender documents for major infrastructure and high-value projects
  • Establish pre-qualification criteria and oversee selection of contractors, consultants, and advisors
  • Develop and issue Request for Proposal documentation for technical studies, feasibility, and advisory services
  • Lead tender and proposal evaluations, define assessment methodologies, and present recommendations to decision-makers
  • Conduct commercial clarifications and participate in technical meetings prior to contract award
  • Provide strategic oversight of post-award contract management including performance, compliance, cost control, variations, and claims
  • Establish best practices and governance standards for contract administration to mitigate risks
  • Oversee contract close-out activities and capture lessons learned for future procurement strategies
  • Maintain comprehensive contract registers, documentation, and audit trails
  • Advise leadership on commercial risks, mitigation strategies, and contract performance
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level reports and dashboards on contract KPIs and compliance
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or an Engineering-related discipline
  • Fifteen or more years of relevant experience in contracts management within oil and gas or energy sectors
  • Strong experience handling high-value tenders and large-scale EPC projects
  • In-depth knowledge of EPC contract structures and commercial practices
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience leading teams and managing senior stakeholders
