Job Description
The Senior Contract Manager is responsible for managing all Legal & Commercial affairs related to the structure of the organisation, its commercial licenses, and commercial law compliance. This role is responsible for providing advice on Regional, commercial, and legal matters including contracts, projects, disputes and negotiations as well as developing and maintaining a strong culture of compliance across the MEA Region.

Knowledge / Experience (Skills):
- Risk awareness, Quality consciousness, Cost consciousness, Negotiation skills, Decision Making, Analytical Skills, Result Oriented, Proactive approach, Ability to work under pressure;
- Knowledge of technical and commercial disciplines related to oil and gas development Projects, Exposure to EPC environment;
- Knowledge of legal and contractual laws governing Projects;
- Considerable knowledge of contract law, contract management, financial management of projects, project controls, risk management principles, excellent experience reviewing, amending and negotiating insurances and bonds during pre-qualification, bidding and pre-award stage;
- Skills in strategy formulation, negotiation and relationship building;
- Competent in advising on contracts and other legal documents and able to co-ordinate, gather, analyse and understand complex information;
- Experience in International markets (preferably in the Middle East and APAC);
- Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with Clients, Partners, Subcontractors and Company staff;
- Able to discuss and present subject matter in an effective, legible and confident manner;
- Must have strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- A graduate University Degree in relevant Degree (e.g. Contract Law)
- At least 15 years experience in the same role or in the administration and management of Contracts (preferably with Middle East experience).
