Experience Required: 5+ years in EPC contracts (Aramco, ADNOC, Qatar Petroleum preferred)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Lawyer specializing in EPC contract claims, dispute resolution, and risk management within the oil & gas and energy sectors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in evaluating, preparing, and defending contractor claims while ensuring compliance with Aramco, ADNOC, and Qatar Petroleum standards. This role requires expertise in FIDIC contracts, arbitration, and delay analysis, with a focus on minimizing disputes and protecting the company's interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and prepare contractor claims (delay, disruption, cost overruns) under EPC contracts.
- Defend against claims and manage dispute resolution (negotiation, mediation, arbitration).
- Draft and negotiate EPC contracts with robust claims and dispute clauses.
- Advise project teams on risk mitigation and dispute avoidance strategies.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in FIDIC, NEC3/NEC4, and GCC contract law.
- Strong analytical skills in delay and quantum claims (Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Bilingual (English + Arabic) preferred.
