Job Description
Job Title Senior Consulting Lead Summary of the role Amadeus Business Consulting (ABC) is a central function and an integral part of global sales & services division within Amadeus Travel Unit, business line Altea. Our mission at Amadeus Business Consulting is:
- Facilitate and support complex transversal customer IT engagements along the customer life cycle, from early stage through implementation to renewal
- Support business domains with positioning Amadeus technology with our customers for business outcomes
- Build Amadeus positioning as a strategic business partner engaging with our customers\xe2\x80\x99 top management
- Deliver high value business consulting services in a structured and profitable manner, at quality and at scale.
- Provide chargeable and non-chargeable consulting services to our external customers in line with the project responsibility as assigned by the staffing conferences at quality, budget and with the defined engagement timeframe
- Provide consulting support to our internal customers (business domains, commercial and strategy teams) helping them to formulate the value add of Amadeus technology more effectively and fostering consultative selling approach
- Engage with top management of our external customers providing them with analytical insights and business judgement and effectively supporting them in their decision-making process
- Fulfill special task assigned by the management (Head of Amadeus business consulting, Amadeus business consulting regional heads, head of business management & operations)
- Develop thorough understanding and business expertise in several business domains related to Amadeus technology and share this knowledge with our external and internal customers.
- Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree from a top-tier university or a business school in business or business-related field. Extensive related work experience might be considered. MBA from a top-tier business school would be strongly preferred
- Fluent English, with excellent speaking and writing skills
- At least 5 years of direct consulting experience or work in consulting-like areas like strategy, business planning or financial management
- Direct airline work experience or experience as an aviation consultant across several airline business domains, e.g. network planning, revenue management, commercial management and operations
- Good understanding of Amadeus solutions portfolio and strong affinity to travel technology and capability to quickly learn.
- The position will require around 30% of time for travel internationally.
