The opportunity
We are looking for Senior Consultants / Assistant Managers / Managers with expertise in real estate valuation to work alongside our Audit valuation practice. You will provide valuation advice for a range of purposes in respect of mainly commercial properties and land in MENA. In this role you will work with a wide variety of clients with a MENA wide real estate portfolio as owners, developers, builders, owner occupiers, financial institutions, lenders, pension funds, as well as Fortune 500 companies.
Your key responsibilities
As the real estate specialist, you will analyze our clients or external company valuations and based on your sector and market research, due diligence, and experience will support our valuation team and audit team on the appropriateness of those assumptions in arriving at the valuations. You will be a member of MENA audit teams advising, coaching and challenging your colleagues. You will conduct formal appraisals of real estate, research and undertake valuations adopting appropriate methods and techniques, including valuation modelling on a DCF, Residual Land Value and Comparable method basis.
To qualify for the role, you must have
Minimum of three years of real estate experience
Relevant real estate valuation certification
Valuation and modelling experience in real estate. As a minimum, it is expected you should have DCF modelling experience
Strong excel skills to design, test and build valuation models
Experienced in analytics, including data collection, reconciliations and classification
Compliance with and understanding of regulatory requirements
Able to deliver high-quality service under tight time constraints
Exercise professional skepticism when verifying valuation estimates and assumptions because of their inherent nature
Ideally, you'll also have
Experience in the GCC/MENA real estate market
