Job Description
Job Title: Senior Consultant - Internal Audit Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Consultant to join our Internal Audit team. The Senior Consultant will be responsible for leading and executing complex internal audit engagements across multiple industries. The successful candidate will have a strong background in risk assessment, internal controls, and audit methodologies, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute internal audit engagements, including planning, scoping, fieldwork, and reporting
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk-based audit plans
- Identify control deficiencies and recommend practical and effective solutions to improve controls and mitigate risks
- Manage and oversee team members during engagements, providing guidance and feedback as needed
- Review work papers and audit reports to ensure quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement remediation plans
- Stay up-to-date on emerging risks, trends, and regulations affecting the industry
- Participate in business development activities, including proposals and client presentations
- Contribute to the development of audit methodologies, tools, and training materials
- Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or other relevant certification preferred
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or related field
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and internal control frameworks
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present to senior management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
