About The Opportunity:

The Senior Consultant for IG Advisory Services will have day to day responsibility for the successful execution of the deliverables and milestones that comprise consulting engagements. In addition, the Senior Consultant will have the skill and experience necessary to provide leadership and oversee the project activities of other consultants that are involved in their projects, as well as manage the execution of project components in the absence of a Principal.

The Senior Consultant will assist in the sale and participate in engagements across the portfolio of IGDS Professional Services (depending upon the consultant\xe2\x80\x99s skills) including:

Information Governance assessments, strategies, roadmaps, organizational design and program design and implementation spanning the disciplines of records management, law, privacy, information security and information technology

Content Classification and ROT remediation of paper and electronic content (both unstructured and structured sources) including providing these as managed services

Records Retention Schedule development and records management policy and program development

Iron Mountain Policy Center Solution and business partner software

Staff Augmentation

A Senior Consultant should have knowledge of all aspects of Information governance (records management, privacy, information security, the business value of information assets) and be recognized as an expert in at least one area across the full lifecycle from strategy and operational consulting through implementation of supporting technology and processes.

Assist the Principal by participating in pre-sales meetings and the development of proposals

Delivery

The Senior Consultant will be instrumental in the creation of engagement deliverables that, depending upon their practice area may consist of:

Information Governance (IG) benchmark assessments,

Information Governance strategies and roadmaps for the operationalization of the strategies.

Record classification schemes and records retention schedules developed in Iron Mountain Policy Center software

Information Governance policies and procedures

Information Governance training

Physical and electronic content classification/remediation and database archiving

Planning and implementation of electronic content management/records management platforms and programs

In addition, the Senior Consultant will assist the Principal with customer communication, milestone and timeline management, presentations, problem resolution, and monitoring overall client satisfaction.

The Senior Consultant may also perform the duties of Project Manager on engagements under the guidance or independent of the Principal

Deliver high-quality work product in accordance with methodologies and timelines

Build and maintain sustainable client executive relationships through high-quality delivery; ensure results, exceed client expectations, and be a trusted advisor and partner

Assist Principal to manage scope, risks, results, schedule and profitability to deliver successful projects

Deliver C-level presentations, driving actions and decisions

Coach and develop junior consultants through on-the-job training

Thought Leadership

Participate in the IG thought leadership program by through writing presentations, whitepaper or public speaking and/or the development of internal methodologies or tools

Your Qualifications:

Across the IG domains of records management, privacy, security, information technology and eDiscovery/legal hold, on a scale of 1 to 5, be at least a 3 in all and a 5 in one

Depending upon Practice area, skills required are

Able to build multi-year Information Governance strategies and roadmaps across different Information Governance domains including records management, information technology, information security, privacy and legal hold

Ability to develop defensible record retention schedules in Policy Center Software

Able to drive IG strategy through design, and implementation, acting as a trusted advisor to client cross-functional teams

Understands modern enterprise information technology including enterprise content management, business process management, cloud, artificial intelligence/machine learning and database archiving.

Hands on skills with tools for remediating redundant, trivial and obsolete data and content in enterprise applications and repositories

5 years of experience in Information Governance, consulting/solutions delivery meeting established quality and utilization targets including project management experience

Supported business development activities, providing responsible consulting delivery leadership in discovering and shaping opportunities, solution development, proposal generation, and deal closing stages

Led consulting engagements, managing client expectations, and engagement staffing, issues and risks, contract change control, internal operational processes

Performed or participated in Current State Analysis and Future State/Target Operating Model development engagements

Developed Information Governance strategies

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree and/or equivalent experience, plus JD, MLIS and/or professional industry certifications, such as Certified Records Manager (CRM) Information Governance Professional (IGP), or MLS (Master of Library Science) is preferred or Stem degree with enterprise architecture/application development experience related to Information Governance, Enterprise Content Management or automated classification

Project Management experience a plus
