Senior Commissioning Coordinator

Job Description

mselect is looking to hire a Senior Commissioning Coordinator for a national oil and gas operator in Doha, Qatar. Candidates must have 10-12 years of experience in relevant construction and installation activities on oil and gas industry projects, with a preference for experience in implementing best practices, systems, processes, and standards within the construction industry. Fluency in English is a must.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate all activities of Contractor with Operations related to pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, acceptance and performance testing, and handover of equipment and systems Prepare procedure and arrange pre-startup Audit before commissioning Oversee and monitor the ContractoraEUR(TM)s commissioning preparation and work activities, and check the availability of commissioning spares and consumables Oversee maintenance and material data requirements for SAP finalization by Contractor in coordination with the Operations Department Adherence to the Company policies/procedures/specifications and project-specific PC/C Execution Plan Review of MC Procedure, Site Acceptance Test Procedure (SAT)/(or Operational Test Procedures (OTP)), vendor SATs, Completion management procedures, specific testing procedures, etc Review and ensure the implementation of Permit to Work (PTW), LOTO, LUN, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), or Task Risk Assessments (TRA) and all the other safety procedures as required Review the PC/C planning and scheduling and ensure that PC/C activities are executed as per the plan and examine/rectify the delay in case of delay in the PC/C schedule Shall be able to work in Onshore and Offshore Supervise the Contractor, Subcontractor, and Vendors for their MC, PC/C, and SAT activities Participate in the Mechanical Completion Walk Through and ensure that Subsystems are mechanically Complete as per the drawings/standards Acceptance of Mechanically Complete Sub system packages from Construction Punch List management and responsibility of offered Subsystems/Systems Verify the various Pre-com testing activities/interface Signal Checks Perform detailed discussions with vendors regarding their SAT execution and sign off the SAT Participate during the Start-up and Performance testing and Ensure that necessary reports are prepared by the contractor Responsible for ensuring that Preservation activities are carried out safely as per the procedures and that the preservation ITRs/reports are prepared properly by the Contractor/Subcontractor Complete all relevant project documentation including knowledge of completion systems

Requirements

Higher National Diploma (HND), Diploma in Diploma in Instrumentation and/or Electrical and/or Mechanical from a recognized University with extensive commissioning experience in Oil & Gas projects. Good skills in construction management, effective communication, conflict resolution A minimum of eight to ten (10 to 12) years of experience in relevant construction and installation activities in projects of the oil & gas industry. Experienced in the implementation of construction industry best practices, systems, processes, and standards Client representative experience
