Senior Coating Supervisor
Job Description
Supervise surface preparation and application of coatings works (e.g., painting, fireproofing, galvanizing, etc.) on steel structures, piping, tanks, and other project components.
Monitor blasting and painting processes including surface profile, environmental conditions, paint mixing, application methods, curing, and DFT/WFT checks.
Coordinate with QA/QC team to schedule inspections, rectify NCRs, and ensure final acceptance of work.
Review method statements, ITPs, material technical datasheets (TDS), and MSDS for coatings and control the paint consumption and wastage Plan daily and weekly activities, allocate manpower and resources accordingly.
Prepare and maintain daily activity list, inspection checklists, and progress of the daily works.
Ensure all coating equipment and tools are maintained and calibrated.Conduct toolbox talks, ensure HSE compliance, and report near misses or incidents promptly.
Liaise with subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives as required.
Support training and mentoring of junior supervisors or technicians.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Dubai: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
Education:
Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
Senior Coating Supervisor:: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
