Help AG is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Cloud Engineer - VMWare to join our team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our private cloud infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on architecting, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various components within the private cloud environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for Azure AD and Office 365 services into our infrastructure, ensuring seamless collaboration and user management across platforms.
Responsibilities
Private Cloud Infrastructure Management:

• Architect, design, and implement private cloud infrastructure based on VMware technologies.
• Install, configure, and manage vCenter Servers, ESXi Hypervisors, and NSX Manager.
• Monitor and optimize the performance and availability of the private cloud environment.

VMware vSphere Upgrade and Maintenance:

• Plan and execute VMware vSphere upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
• Apply patches and updates to vCenter Servers, ESXi Hypervisors, and other VMware components.
• Conduct regular performance tuning and capacity planning exercises.

Azure AD and Office 365

• Experience on Azure Active Directory (AD).
• Implement and manage Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Ensure proper synchronization and identity management between on-premises AD and Azure AD.

Monitoring and Log Management:

• Implement vRealize Operations Management and vRealize Log Management for centralized monitoring and log analysis.
• Set up alerts and notifications to proactively detect and resolve issues within the private cloud environment.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans, addressing any identified risks.

Troubleshooting and Support:

• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for private cloud infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a System Engineer with a focus on private cloud infrastructure and VMware technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of vCenter Server Deployment, vSphere, NSX Manager, and ESXi Hypervisors.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AD and Office 365.
• Familiarity with vRealize Operations Management and vRealize Log Management.
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, network architecture, and storage systems.
• Solid grasp of security principles and best practices within a private cloud environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
