Job Description

Collaborate with clients to understand project goals, requirements, and constraints. Develop project plans, feasibility studies, and design concepts. Create detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications. Perform structural analysis, geotechnical assessments, and other engineering calculations. Evaluate project sites for factors such as soil conditions, environmental impacts, and feasibility. Ensure that engineering designs and plans adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and standards. Obtain the necessary permits and approvals from regulatory authorities. Maintain effective communication with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and manage expectations. Present technical information in a clear and understandable manner. Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and other project expenses. Assist in developing project budgets and monitoring costs throughout the project lifecycle. Provide construction oversight, site visits, and quality control to ensure compliance with design specifications. Address construction issues and propose solutions as needed. Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Recommend modifications to designs to address unforeseen challenges. Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure timely project delivery. Provide technical expertise to support project scheduling and coordination. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree or professional engineering license is a plus). Proven experience as a Civil Engineering Consultant or in a similar consulting role. In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, and construction practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Proficiency in engineering software and tools. Project management experience is advantageous. Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
