Senior Civil Engineer in a Consultant Supervision Role

(Full Time - Project Engineer)

Requirements:

- Minimum 10 years of experience for the project related to the construction supervision of a high-rise building with at least 8 years in a consultant supervision role within the Gulf region.

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.

- Proven track record in supervising high-rise buildings and villa developments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities to ensure alignment with approved drawings, design specifications and project timelines.

- Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, materials submittals and ensure adherence to project QA/QC procedures.

- Lead site inspections, respond to contractor WIR's and ensure all works comply with local regulations and international standards.

- Guide, mentor and coordinate with junior engineers and technical staff within the supervision team.

- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental standards and client quality expectations throughout all construction stages.

- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues, site constraints and facilitate smooth project delivery.

- Maintain accurate documentation, daily reports and progress records to support reporting to project management and client representatives.

Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of local authority regulations and international building codes.

- Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities.

- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Proficiency in civil engineering software and project management tools.

Licenses & Accreditations:

- Valid UAE driving license.

- Dubai Municipality accreditation

(Candidates with Unlimited or minimum G+12 certification will be in priority for selection).

- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.
