The Role
Position Overview: Supersonic Shipping Group is seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals for the position of Senior Buyer / Buyer at our Dubai office. The Senior Buyer / Buyer will play a crucial role in the procurement cycle of various materials and services essential to support the requirements of our managed fleet. This includes stores, spares, bunkers, lubricants, provisions, paints, chemicals, and more. The role also involves active budget preparation and monitoring, as well as contract agreement management. Familiarity with ERP systems is considered a plus. Key Responsibilities: - Execute the end-to-end procurement process for all required materials and services. - Actively participate in budget preparation and monitor expenses. - Manage and negotiate contracts effectively to ensure cost-efficiency. - Collaborate with various stakeholders to identify and fulfill procurement needs. - Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards. - Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procurement activities. - Continuously identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. - Stay updated on market trends and industry developments. - Provide regular reports and updates to the management team.

Requirements
Qualifications: - A Bachelor\'s degree in Maritime, Management, Engineering, Economics, or a relevant field from a reputable university or college. - Minimum of 1-2 years of prior experience in a similar procurement role within ship management companies or ship supply organizations. - Proficiency in using ERP systems will be advantageous.
