Objective
The Senior Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in bolstering Richemont\'s growth initiatives across the MEIA region. Acting as an intermediary between strategy and execution, the Senior Business Development Manager orchestrates cross-functional teams to efficaciously drive business development initiatives across all markets and channels. Leading a team of 2-3 managers and analysts, this role necessitates a proactive individual who can both steer and collaborate. The overarching aim is to bolster Richemont\xe2\x80\x99s market positioning, ensuring harmonious coordination and alignment with the strategic goals as established by upper management.
Primary Duties
TEAM MANAGEMENT: Direct, mentor, and guide a team of 2-3 business development associates and analysts, ensuring the alignment of tasks and maximization of output.
OPERATIONAL PLANNING & SUPPORT: Collaborate with key local Maisons and Richemont functions to grasp regional business objectives and support upper management in strategizing business development initiatives.
PORTFOLIO COORDINATION: Assist in the operational nuances of strategic business development and excellence initiatives. Contribute to managing the regional project portfolio, ensuring alignment with MEIA strategic objectives.
MARKET INTELLIGENCE : Facilitate the market intelligence team in accruing insights, utilizing internal analytics. Offer insights into market health, significant events, and key players.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT & OVERSIGHT : Help in facilitating strategic management processes, provide expertise, and program management for specific strategic initiatives. Be responsible for identify, leading and executing medium and larger sized projects including cross functional projects (Richemont and Maisons).
Key Responsibilities
PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT
Support in shaping and prioritizing the regional cross-functional projects portfolio.
Engage with initiative leaders and contribute to overseeing the operational facets of strategic projects.
Initiate, plan and manage the execution of key strategic programs/projects in all aspects including budget, scope, schedule, communications and risks.
Report to the management on the progress of key initiatives and overall roadmap execution.
COACHING
Offer support to project leaders within Maisons and Richemont functional spheres, ensuring projects align with business development strategies.
MARKET INTELLIGENCE DEVELOPMENT
Aid the team in producing actionable market and intelligence reports for integration into internal strategies.
Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Contribute across various stages of project management, ensuring projects are on course and resonate with business aspirations.
Manage project budget and resources.
Guide and lead team to achieve project objective and project management best practices
Communicate project progress to stakeholders, sponsors as required and defined.
