Senior Business Development Manager (Multi-Sector Experience) - IT Consultancy - Dubai
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Business Development Manager to join our client's expanding team in Dubai. This role is focused on driving growth by engaging new clients within one or more of the following industries: Retail CPG (Consumer Packed Goods), Transport & Logistics, Energy, and Travel.
The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and digital solutions, alongside a successful history of working in offshore or nearshore delivery models. Experience within the MENA region is essential to be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive new business acquisition within the IT services sector, with a particular focus on clients in the MENA region.
  • Identify and qualify prospective clients, aligning service offerings with their strategic needs.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at securing large-scale engagements.
  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle-from lead generation through to deal closure.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the CRM system.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including senior executives across target industries.
  • Lead the negotiation of complex service agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Provide senior leadership with regular updates on pipeline progress, forecasted revenue, and market trends.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and global counterparts to support client engagement and regional growth initiatives.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and events, including moderating or speaking as required.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • Fluent in both English and Arabic (business proficiency).
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the IT services space.
  • In-depth knowledge of the MENA region and established connections within industries such as Retail & CPG, Transport & Logistics, Energy, Airlines, and Telecommunications.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue goals, with a history of closing complex, high-value deals.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of IT service offerings, including application development, cloud services, digital transformation, and managed IT solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex solutions to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to influence and coordinate across teams.
  • Expertise in negotiating enterprise-level contracts with a focus on long-term value creation.
  • Self-driven and able to independently lead business development initiatives while working in a collaborative environment.
Additional Requirements:
  • Previous experience in managing offshore or nearshore service delivery.
  • Solid understanding of Agile frameworks and how they apply in a services context.
