Job Title -Senior Business Analyst
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions by analysing processes, gathering requirements, and delivering actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. This role plays a critical part in driving process improvement, system optimisation, and data-driven initiatives across trading and industrial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capability, stakeholder-management skills, and a deep understanding of business workflows and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from stakeholders across departments.
Translate business needs into functional and non-functional specifications for technical teams.
Create business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), and user stories.
Process Improvement & Optimisation
Analyse existing business processes and identify inefficiencies or improvement opportunities.
Recommend process enhancements, system changes, and automation initiatives.
Support process re-engineering and change-management initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Act as a key liaison between business users, IT teams, and external vendors.
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to clarify requirements and align expectations.
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear communication throughout project lifecycles.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyse business data, KPIs, and operational metrics to support informed decision-making.
Develop reports, dashboards, and insights to track performance and outcomes.
Support management with data interpretation and strategic recommendations.
Project Support & Delivery
Support project planning, scope definition, and prioritisation activities.
Participate in solution testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation support.
Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
Documentation & Governance
Maintain accurate documentation, process maps, and system workflows.
Ensure alignment with business policies, compliance requirements, and governance standards.
Support audit and review processes related to business systems and operations.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
6-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within trading, industrial, or technology-driven environments.
Strong experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation.
Proficiency in analytical tools, reporting platforms, and business analysis methodologies.
Experience working with ERP, CRM, or enterprise systems is an advantage.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making abilities.
