Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and data-driven?Senior Business and Financial Analyst (ABUDHABI)?to join our team in the retail sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong financial background and extensive experience analyzing retail operations, performance metrics, and market trends. This role is key to driving strategic decisions, optimizing profitability, and supporting long-term growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze financial statements, sales data, margins, and operating expenses to provide actionable insights and recommendations. Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, pricing strategies, and scenario planning. Partner with retail operations, marketing, supply chain, and merchandising teams to assess business performance. Track and interpret KPIs such as same-store sales, inventory turnover, shrinkage, and customer behavior analytics. Lead monthly and quarterly business reviews; prepare detailed presentations and dashboards for senior management. Provide competitive analysis, market trend reviews, and retail benchmarking to identify risks and opportunities. Develop business cases for new initiatives, store openings/closures, technology investments, and process improvements. Collaborate with IT and BI teams to enhance data infrastructure and automate reporting processes. Ensure financial reporting accuracy and compliance with internal controls and company policies. Mentor junior analysts and contribute to building a high-performance analytics culture.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred). 5+ years of relevant experience in financial/business analysis, preferably within the retail or consumer goods industry. Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to interact with senior stakeholders. Detail-oriented with a proactive and collaborative approach.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with omni-channel or e-commerce retail environments. Familiarity with CRM, POS, and inventory management systems. Project management skills and cross-functional collaboration experience.
